TAMARIKI WELLBEING
Te Puawai Whānau service delivery is underpinned by a Whānau Ora approach that places children and their whānau at the centre of all that we do. Our aim is to enhance the parenting journey for all whānau with a commitment to value our relationship and connections; supporting whanau aspirations.
FAMILY START
Family Start is a free intensive home based visiting programme which is focused on improving tamariki growth and health, learning and relationships, family circumstance, environment and safety. The programme is available to tamariki aged 0-3 years and their whānau and delivers a Whānau Ora approach by including the whānau as part of the tamariki paradigm.
TAMARIKI ORA
Our Tamariki Ora service is a free service for 0-5 years of age, providing health and development assessments, health education and care and support for whanau with tamariki aged from birth-5 year.
Seven core contacts are provided with additional visits where needed. These visits are mostly in the first year of life and are mainly home based with the option to be seen at our clinic at The Terrace, 133 Wicksteed Street.
We are happy to meet with you in other locations e.g. kohanga reo, home based care, early childhood education centres.
