Whānau Ora
Our Whānau Ora program empowers whānau to realise and achieve their full potential. Our Whānau Ora kaimahi will work with you to help identify your needs and help you to develop support plans towards achieving your dreams and aspirations. Whānau Ora works collaboratively to improve experiences when accessing services and walks alongside whānau as they make informed decisions about their health and wellbeing.
Whānau Ora takes a holistic approach to wellbeing, which means taking into account the overall wellbeing of the whānau in the following areas;

This service also has two dedicated Rangatahi Kaiārahi that provide specialised support and mentoring to rangatahi aged 12 to 24 years, also providing a whānau centric approach to the health and wellbeing of rangatahi.
The Whānau Ora programme covers the Whanganui River, Ngā Rauru and Whanganui region. We cater for whānau, hapū and iwi from pēpē to kaumātua.
Family Start
Family Start is a home visiting programme, focused on tamariki development. The programme works with whānau to support children’s:

Kaimahi support whānau to enhance parenting tools and strategies for children aged under 5 years. Family Start also delivers a Whānau Ora approach by including the whānau as part of the tamariki paradigm.
