Team Leader/Kaitātaki - He Puna Ora 1.0 FTE

Permanent - 40 hours per week

The Team Leader will be leading the development and implementation of a new pregnancy & parenting service, driven by Mātauranga Māori to support hapū māmā and whānau, particularly those experiencing significant addiction, and for whom current support services are not reaching across the Whanganui District Health Board region.   

We are looking for someone who:

Has a health related qualification, tertiary education or expertise in Mātauranga Māori. Has experience leading a team to get the best results for their clients.

  • A “Go Getter” attitude

  • Is honest and reliable

  • Will always “walk the talk”

  • Is computer literate

  • Has current driver’s licence

  • Will be cleared to work with pēpi and tamariki as a core worker (Vulnerable Children’s Act)

If you are shortlisted for an interview, these will be held during the week commencing 28 September 2020. We are aiming to have the person start work by the end of mid to late October 2020. The successful person will be involved in the recruitment of other team members.

Remuneration will be negotiated based on qualification and experience.
