Team Lead Localities

Location: Whanganui

Employment Type:  We are flexible in terms of the employment arrangements, be it full/part time or "contract for services".

About the role

Based in beautiful Whanganui Te Oranganui is a kaupapa Māori organisation who offers a range of health and wellbeing services for whānau in the Whanganui region and surrounding districts. 

About the role:

The Team Lead Localities role will support the work of Te Hononga Localities (Prototype).

 

Your job will be to link to the activities of Te Hononga, to support the backroom development of Te Hononga, but specifically to coordinate the work of the Project Lead roles.

 

To coordinate and report on the various locality projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and produce the desired results.

 

You will be the key link between a Te Hononga Leader, Project Lead and Te Hononga Leadership group. You will ensure collaboration between the organisation, project leads and any third parties.

The perfect candidate will have:

  • Four or more years of project management experience

  • Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines

  • Proven success working with all levels of management

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent presentation skills

  • A Tertiary level qualification in Project Management or other related field desirable but not essential

  • A Tertiary level qualification in Project Management or other related field desirable but not essential.

  • Ability and willingness to work positively as a member of a team.

  • Ability to manage and lead a team.

  • Team-orientated and skilled in working within a collaborative environment.

Other requirements of this position

  • Current clean, full NZ driver’s license

  • Must be able to pass Te Oranganui background check process
