Registered Clinician Child Adolescent Mental Health Service

These tamariki and rangatahi along with their whānau are experiencing mental health and/or substance abuse problems that are interrupting their potential life course.

The work will include nurturing the fundamental values of Tikanga Māori as well as being clinically sound.

Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our well-established Practice; Te Waipuna Health. This is a full-time permanent position; however, the hours are negotiable. It is expected that you will have experience in all aspects of patient care, able to work autonomously conducting assessments, diagnosing and treating, prescribing medications within your scope of practice.

 

You will be supported by an experienced team of GP’s, practice nurses and non-clinical team. Staff here work very well as a team and there is excellent collegial support.

Alcohol and Other Drug Practitioner

Waiora Hinengaro (Vocations, Mental Health and Addiction Services) at Te Oranganui have two Alcohol and other Drug positions in the team. Your work will include both one to one with tangata whai ora and whānau as well as being part of the community group programmes. Your practice will need to be based on whānau ora with the knowledge and skill of addiction work.

COVID and Influenza Vaccinator

We are seeking an enthusiastic vaccinator to join our Immunisation team.

This role is key to the delivery of the national Influenza and COVID-19 Vaccination programme to whānau, hapū and Iwi within the Whanganui rohe.

This is a casual role for a fixed term period until 31 December 2021 with potential for it to be extended.
