Primary Mental Health Clinician
Permanent - 40 hours per week (Negotiable)

Te Oranganui is a health and social service provider based in Whanganui and offers a wide range of services including Vocation, Mental Health & Addictions, Disability Support, Whanau & Community Support and Primary Health and Medical to all people within the Whanganui and neighbouring regions.
Waiora Hinengaro, the Vocations, Mental Health and Addiction Services, has a vacancy for a registered health professional or social worker. You will work with rangatahi who have mild to moderate issues with their mental health and/or alcohol and other drugs. Working with others in the service, the organisation and the community you will support rangatahi to find their way forward. Understanding the application of whare tapa wha in your practice as well as the differing world views of rangatahi are important aspects to the role.
The ideal applicant will have a passion for the health and wellbeing of Iwi, be committed to providing the best possible care and work very well with others. Your communication must be effective with all people in all settings.
Other requirements are to have a registration covered by the Health Practitioner’ Competence Assurance Act 2003 or the Social Workers’ Registration Act 2019, be computer literate and have a full drivers license.
The role is up to full time, Monday to Friday.
