We are back in Alert Level 2
There has been a new community case of covid-19 in Auckland this evening. This new case is a family member of a student from Papatoetoe High School who has returned 3 negative covid-19 tests.
That means we have no current known link for the case discovered today.
You can read more about this new case here: https://www.facebook.com/UniteAgainstCOVID19/
From 6am tomorrow, Auckland will move to Alert Level 3 and the rest of the country will return to Alert Level 2 for the next seven days.
Whānau, we ask that you please remain vigilant and ensure we are all doing the following:
- If you haven’t already, download the covid tracer app https://tracing.covid19.govt.nz/
Login and SCAN, SCAN, SCAN everywhere you go. It’s important that you turn the Bluetooth function on inside the app as well.
- If you are unwell, please stay home. If you believe you have covid-19 symptoms please call Healthline on 0800 538 5453. If you or your whānau have recently returned from South Auckland and have been in any of the places of interest, please follow the MoH guidelines.
(Places of interest can be found here: https://bit.ly/2ZTaFll
- Hand Hygiene is still very important. Please wash your hands with soap and water and sanitize often.
- When using public transport, please use a face covering. This is now mandatory in all Alert Levels.
Whānau, if we work together and follow these 4 simple rules, we will be working together to keep ourselves, our families, and our community safe.
