With a number of new case of covid-19 in the community (Te Tai Tokerau & Tamaki), it’s the perfect time for us to remember to be vigilant and not complacent. Covid-19 is still very much alive and this new case is a reminder of that.
Let’s continue to work together to keep our whānau and community safe from covid-19 by following the health guidelines as set by the government.
Wash and dry your hands thoroughly and often. This is still very important for our general health and wellbeing.
If you are unwell, STAY HOME! If you believe you have covid-19 symptoms, get a test or contact Healthline who will advise you on next steps. If you have a covid-19 test, you must self-isolate until you receive your test results.
Use your covid-tracer app everywhere you go! Even here at mahi. The government are also recommending that the Bluetooth setting within the covid-tracer app be turned on. This is an extra safety component to the app – we are still required to scan, scan, scan!
If we all do our part, we will be sure to help towards keeping ourselves, whānau and community safer.
