Te Oranganui is a health and social service provider based in Whanganui and offers a wide range of services to all people within the Whanganui and neighboring regions. Free services available include Mental Health & Addictions, Disability Support, Whānau & Community and Healthy Families. Te Oranganui Medical Centre and its associated services such as Tamariki Ora, Rural Community Nurse and the Quit Smoking clinic are also available.
Te Oranganui is seeking a Personal Assistant who is responsible for all activities connected to and supportive of Te Mātaiwhetū (CEO). You will provide high-level administrative support and manage internal/external engagement for the Mātaiwhetū. You will be responsible for the administration of a number of internal and external committees.
The successful candidate will have:

Tertiary level qualification (Level 4 or higher) in Business Administration or a commitment to attain one within two years

Proven experience in a busy Personal Assistant or administration role with accountability for a wide variety of complex administration and secretariat tasks

At least 3+ years’ experience in a similar role

Excellent administration and support skills and experience

Minimum typing speed of 50+ words per minute with high accuracy

Demonstrated organisational and planning ability for the successful completion of work

Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Work, Excel, Adobe and PowerPoint

Strong information gathering and analytical skill

Excellent minute taking skills

Accuracy and attention to detail

Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
