Kaitātaki (Team Leader) Waiora Hinengaro

Waiora Hinengaro (Vocations, Mental Health and Addiction Services) has a vacancy for a Kaitātaki who will lead the team work around the recovery and wellness journeys of tangata whai ora. They will help ensure the work of the service nurtures the fundamental values of Tikanga Māori. Other areas will  include supporting the different groups and activities the service provides.

 

The ideal applicant will have a passion for the health and wellbeing of iwi, be committed to overseeing the best possible care and work very well with others. You will have sound clinical knowledge, experience and judgement about mental health and addiction areas and be able to help grow kaimahi and students.

 

Your communication must be effective with all people in all settings. Other requirements are to be a NZ Registered Nurse with a current Practicing Certificate that allows you to work in a mental health setting, be computer literate, and have a full drivers license. 

 

The role is 40 hours a week Monday to Friday.
