Kaipaneke Taituarā (Receptionist)

The Receptionist (Kaipāneke Taituarā) helps ensure the Te Oranganui Business Unit runs smoothly and efficiently, and is the “face” of Te Oranganui’s main office for kaimahi, whānau and manuhiri who visit. The Receptionist is responsible for delivering a high-quality administration support service to, and on behalf of the Business Unit, to all kaimahi and management.

 

The Receptionist will utilise organisational and interpersonal skills to work with all kaimahi and manuhiri. This position is based away from the main Business Unit in the reception area so the successful applicant will need to be able to work autonomously using their initiative to ensure they are motivated to achieve the service’s objectives.

 

This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their skill base and experience. Support and development opportunities will be provided to the successful applicant.

The ideal applicant will meet the following criteria:

  • A qualification (Level 4 or higher) in Business Administration or a commitment to attain one within two years

  • Proven experience in a busy administration role with accountability for a wide variety of complex administration and/or secretarial tasks

  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills

  • Excellent administration and support skill and experience

  • Ability to work autonomously, with initiative, and is driven to achieve results
