The Māori Health Outcomes Advisory Group of providers have an exciting opportunity to provide a new service for wahine with pēpi  under 3 and whānau who are faced with alcohol and drug issues.

Do you have a strong sense of social justice and would you like to make a difference in the lives of māmā, pēpi and whānau who do not have strong relationships with services in the community? 

Would you like to be an integral part of an innovative service for Whanganui, Ruapehu and Rangitikei?

Do you enjoy a challenge and want to be part of a team working with māmā, pēpi and whānau who have complex needs and are currently exposed to AOD and who find it difficult engaging with clinical services for support?

The ideal person for this position must be innovative, creative, and be experienced in mātauranga Māori.

You will be working one-on-one with māmā and their whānau, as well as facilitating wānanga.

We are looking to form a team who will be based in Raetihi, Ohakune, Marton and Whanganui. 3 roles will be clinical, 5 roles will be non-clinical and .5 admin. If shortlisted for an interview, you will need to identify which town you want to be based in and whether you are applying for a clinical or non-clinical role. 

Remuneration will be negotiated based on qualification and experience.

Police screening and a drug test will be essential.
