Kaihautū Puawai Whānau (Family Start & Tamariki Ora Manager)
Permanent - 40 hours per week

Te Oranganui is a health and social service provider based in Whanganui and offers a wide range of services including Vocation, Mental Health & Addictions, Disability Support, Whānau & Community Support and Primary Health and Medical to all people within the Whanganui and neighbouring regions.
The Family Start team focuses on supporting whānau to achieve outcomes whilst working with their tamariki to give them the best start in life. This role works across health, education, justice and social outcome domains.
The Tamariki Ora team focuses on improving the health status of tamariki (ages 0-5 years) in the Whanganui rohe through the provision of high quality Tamariki Ora Well Child services to tamariki and their whānau.
Te Oranganui is seeking an experienced Kaihautū/Manager to effectively lead our team of loyal and dedicated staff.
The ideal applicant should meet the following criteria:
Have a Tertiary level qualification (Level 7 or higher) in Health or Social Work
A minimum of 5 years in a similar leadership role
Experience of managing a team, including the development and training of staff
Experience of reporting and monitoring key performance indicators within tight deadlines
Ability to effectively manage staff to achieve outcomes
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders
