Kaihautū Puawai Whānau

Permanent Position - 40 hours per week

Te Puawai Whānau provides whānau-centred tamariki health and wellbeing services to Māori and non-Māori within the Whanganui/Rangitīkei region.

We are seeking an experienced Manager (Kaihautū) to lead this team.

The ideal applicant will meet the following criteria:

  • Tertiary level qualification (Level 7 Bachelor or higher) in social work, education or health

  • Formal qualification or evidence of training in professional supervision

  • Current registration (as appropriate) with relevant professional body

  • A minimum of five (5) years in a similar team leadership or management role

  • Substantial and proven experience in the leadership of a large and diverse team, development, training and performance management of staff.

  • Experience of reporting (including written reports) and monitoring to tight deadlines
