Te Oranganui is an iwi led organisation that was established in 1993 to improve access and service delivery of health services to Māori in the Whanganui region.  Te Oranganui is leading out the Whānau Ora approach in the region.  This approach works beyond treatment to sustained wellness for whānau, hapū , iwi and the wider community. 


We are currently seeking a professional with proven experience in practice supervision.  The successful applicant will need to effectively supervise a team of Whanau Practitioners, by providing a supportive environment within which service delivery excellence can be achieved. If you have excellent communication skills then we would like to hear from you.

The ideal applicant will have

  • a Bachelor of Social Work or Health or Education or relevant field;

  • Completed formal training in Professional Supervision

  • at least 3+ year' experience in a similar role

  • established network base within the Health, Social & Disability sector;

  • a current Practising Certificate with relevant body

  • a registration with relevant professional body
