Te Oranganui is an iwi led organisation that was established in 1993 to improve access and service delivery of health services to Māori in the Whanganui region. Over time the roles and functions have grown and the organisation now delivers a range of health and social services throughout the region to Māori and non-Māori Whānau.
Te Oranganui is seeking an experienced administrator (part time, permanent) to deliver a high quality administration support service to the Manager and staff of the Disability Support Service. The Administrator is responsible for ensuring the service has adequate supplies and resources on hand. The Administrator is also responsible to providing back up support and cover for the CMS.
The successful applicant will have:
Qualification in Business and Administration is advantageous
Demonstrated experience in administrative skills, office systems and the range of duties described above
Experience with database administration
Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office with strong focus on excel
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong time management skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities
Initiative and willingness to take on new tasks and challenges as they arise
